We work with organisations within the Construction and Engineering industry on the development and application of Computer Vision models. We are currently working across a number of regional Councils within Southeast Queensland on the pickup and rectification of recent flood damage to the road networks. Flood inspection works typically results in tens of thousands of images being taken and hours of videos being captured, all of which needs to be reviewed by a submission team.
We have developed and implemented computer vision models that can help identify and mark-up potential flood damage, significantly reducing the time it takes to inspect the captured data. We are also working with these organisations to integrate our models into their Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This integration allows the models to be expanded to identify and capture other forms of damage and assets within the road network. This includes developing data capture applications that allow for damage and assets to be inspected at regular traffic speed using a video camera, increasing the speed at which this work can be undertaken and reducing the need to put people in hazardous situations.
